Dear Mr. Smith,
I am a student of final year 'Business Administration' course of your college and my student ID card is 4567087W. Recently, while travelling from the bus to attend my morning lectures, I mistakenly dropped my student identification card somewhere. I even approached the local bus depot, but failed to get any positive responses. I request you to please avail me a new student ID card.
Since my residence is almost 30 km from the college, I am finding it very difficult to travel by the local transport and without student ID card I am unable to board the college bus. Also it is very difficult to enter the college premises without having one. Furthermore, I am not entitled to issue any books from the college library without card. Being in the final year, books or articles from the library are very beneficial in completing my assignments.
I would be very thankful if you consider my request and issue me a new student ID card. Let me know if there is any fine to be paid for issuance of new card. I assure you that I will preserve this card till the end of my term.
