Cohabitation is believed to bring huge advantages for young people since it enables them to fully understand each other before deciding to get married. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Marriage is a huge and one of the most critical decision of anyone's life. Before getting indulge in this big commitment people prefer to live under a roof to get to know each other better and learn all about their little habits to judge the compatibility with each other. I do not despise this ideology at all, I believe it is a very logical approach.

To start off, choosing a life partner is a difficult task on its own, everyone desires a companion who will stand by their side through thick and thin. To put this to a test, nothing can be more appropriate than living-in together. Evidently, some people lie before getting into a relationship and those lies can only be discovered when staying together, so to make the right call about the betroth cohabitation is necessary.

Continuing the same argument, some people would make bogus promises to their partner and in the end not live upto such promises. For instance, some men like to gamble or are addicted to smoking, they would lie about quitting but such lies could be unmasked if living together. Thus, to ensure not signing up for a rough life ahead living-in relationship should be promoted. It is not all negative though, living together also strengthen the love a couple share and each one tries to leave behind their annoying habits for betterment of their relationship.

To conclude, I would say cohabitation is vital move before going forward with the decision of marriage and it must be promoted so that the young generation could be spared from the disparity of being stuck into an unhappy lives.
