 The chart shows the unemployment situation in Australia in the year 2012.


The line graph depicts the employment situation in Australia for the year 2012 in rural as well as urban areas.

 It can be clearly seen that throughout the year there is certain increase in the employment generated in rural areas whereas the urban areas showed the opposite pattern. 

 In the first quarter, there is a gradual decrease in the unemployment in the rural areas .On the other hand ,urban areas suffered a steep rise. The last pattern, almost continued through the second quarter . The unemployment rate fell from 7% to 5% in rural areas while it rose from 2% to 4% over the two quarters. During the third quarter, the jobs in the rural areas skyrocketed to the highest employment rate(5.5%) and then took a hit, although the same is not true for the urban areas, as the value again got back to 2%. For the last quarter, the is situation is pretty much same for the rural areas  but the urban areas experienced a continuous rise in the proportion of jobless people as the proportion of jobless people rose to all time high of about 5%.
