Migration to wealthier or developed countries is no more an option but a necessity since opportunities for employment are meagre in developing countries. What is your opinion about this?
This word is going through monumental transformations where on one side political boundaries are diminishing and on the other countries are stringent towards accepting skilled migrant human resource. This is all happening in the context where countries are also suffering from wars within due to ethnic identities. At such a juncture, when people are getting disillusioned from their own governments, they prefer to look for opportunities for themselves and their children in some other distant lands.
I believe migration for employment had always been in vogue in history. Due to ravaging disturbances within the countries, primarily due to unemployment and segregation, young generation that has invested heavily in their qualifications needs to look toward bright future. Hence, they do not waste time waiting for things to happen to them, they just move away being highly adaptable in their aptitude. Secondly, any youngster from a developing nation can not wait for years for good cheer. He has to own this responsibility to fend for himself and family ignoring his nationality and any false pretensions of nationalism. Thirdly, only this young age, young population can indulge in any outside adventure, otherwise in later years they will seek cultural identification which will deter them from leaving their native places.
On the other side, if governments stop investing in warfare and initiate programs that attract young entrepreneurs to experiment and flourish, they will rather love their nations more rather than deserting them. Parents and educational institutions should focus more on the developing the skills amongst youngsters to generate employment later when they pass out rather than seeking employment. Small scale industries have always made heroes out of commoners with their passion and skills.
To conclude, governments of the respective nations can surely check this migration once they create optimal atmosphere for the young people.
