WRITING TASK-1 (GT)- LETTER 15

 You took your family to a nearby restaurant. You were disappointed with the meal and wish to complain to the manager. Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant. In the letter:

explain why you were at the restaurant

describe the problems

write about the action you want the manager to take


Dear Sir,

I am writing to you to enlight my unsatisfactory experience at your "Pirates of the Grill" restaurant last Saturday.

It was my wedding anniversary and to celebrate the special occasion I decided to visit your restaurant along with my family of six. We also booked in advance for the dinner. 

Firstly, to my surprise, booking did not help and we had to keep waiting for thirty-five minutes before being escorted to our table. As we ordered the food, it took us another forty-five minutes before actually getting the food to our table. Moreover, when it was received ,believe it or not, the chicken and half of the vegetables in it were burnt. This was quite disappointing and even though our disappointment was mentioned to the waiter ,we got no redress.

Therefore, I would like you to note all the shortfalls above and make the relevant changes to improve the overall customer service experience by your loyal patrons in this case, my family. Added to this, I believe we should be provided with some sort of refund or compensation for this disappointing time.
